Sticky Finger Squares

Simple to Make Sticky Finger Squares

by Ashley Mullen Leave a Comment

Looking for a sweet treat that requires no baking? Sure you could have the some what healthier version that include dried berries, and if you are planning on sharing with children, maybe you’ll want to stick to that one. But me, I want the chocolate, and crunch. These squares are unlike any I’ve ever had or made.

Sticky Finger Squares

Take another look at the title, Sticky Finger Squares, this should tell you that it is very, very hard to sneak a piece or bite. I tried hard, thankfully it seems like wipes are always in reach so I could clean up quickly before I got caught.

What you need:

  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 2/3 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cup wheat squares
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit, of choice
  • 1/4 cup raisins

How to make Sticky Finger Squares

Corn syrup may not be the healthiest but it’s sweet and holds it all together. I am wondering if honey would be just as good? If you try them with honey, you should definitely comment and let me know how it goes.

I wasn’t able to take pictures of the making of it because I was moving fast, warm peanut butter and corn syrup aren’t compatible with chocolate chips. Nor with a cool kitchen.

They will harden in the fridge quite quickly, and will cut into nice squares. You could also line your pan with parchment paper to lift them out first before cutting.
