Now that Austin is in school it is hitting me just how fast time does go. In no time at all she’s be deciding where she wants to go to college or university, deciding what she wants her field of study to be. I don’t want her to worry about anything other than doing what she wants to. Then two years later it will be Brookland, and then in another two years it will be Gauge.
Have you ever had the dreams where you don’t have to go to work, clean the house or cook all the meals? You get to do whatever it is that you want to do. And then you wake up, roll over with your head buried under the pillow. Yeah, me too.
I dream of spending the day having fun with my family at Disney World. Once Gauge is old enough to have fun along with his sisters of course. Not a care in the world, able to buy anything and everything that their little hearts desire. And anything I want too guilt free. That is my dream. And while I would love to do it completely like that, I’d settle for limited funds while there. 🙂
TELUS also believes that a simple thank you can go a long way. And while it would be easy to send a text or reach out with a quick call, we believe that some thank yous are just better shared in person. [Read more…] about Grand Gestures & Dreams – #ActsOfCaring
All I am hearing around my house right now is “Subway Eat Fresh!”. I think they like the meals that we have been enjoying there lately. I wonder what would happen if I made them go a week without? I’d definitely be nagged about going that’s for sure.
For the last couple weeks Subway has been our before soccer supper and I think its been a really great choice for us.
- No cooking or clean up for me while trying to get Austin ready and everyone out the door.
- Its not fast food.
- The girls are getting a lot of vegetables on their sandwiches/subs.
- Hubby and I are getting even more vegetables on our subs.
One great thing with Subway for us: you get a full meal: supper, drink, and dessert. The girls walk away with a bag of apples. Usually a soccer snack for Brookland as she is watching her sister play soccer. With the way Austin has been eating lately – a kid’s pack from Subway doesn’t cut it anymore – she needs the apples after her sub, keep her fueled for a hour a soccer practice.
I wanna tell you about a product I was recently introduced to myself. It has everything that I look for a bag, in a baby product and products I buy myself. The Free Hand Nappy Bag is all of those things and I’m happy to tell you why. I’m going to start with a little about the company:
The main goal of Cariboo Distribution is to bring quality, innovative baby products to the Canadian retail market. The products evaluated are put through first hand testing. Geneuviève (co-founder of Cariboo Distribution) likes to test them all on her children whenever possible. – This completely impressing me! Cariboo Distribution serves hundreds of retailers across Canada and distributes 5 major brands: Babymoov (France), Simply Good (Israel), Baby K’tan (USA), Nattou (Belgium) and The Shrunks (Canada).
Now about the Free Hand Nappy Bag:
Four and a half years ago my house became all pink and purple. Then two and a half years ago we added more pink and purple. Two girls that could not get more girlie. We have more pink and purple than anything else in our house – dishes, furniture, toys, and clothes. Princess Kinder Surprise Eggs were (and still are) a big hit in our house.
Recently I had was able to take Austin to a special event called “The Royal Ball”. More Princesses! I didn’t tell her where we were going, just that she needed to be dressed like a princess, she chose a green dress – Tiana, black shoes and off we went. She was more than a little excited once we arrived.
