These mini donuts are simple to make, but they are BIG on flavor. I am not normally a fan of cinnamon, but these, were perfect, not too much cinnamon in the mini donuts nor in the sugar topping on these cinnamon sugar mini donuts. A fun, sweet treat after a long day of learning in your homeschool.

Simply Delicious Cinnamon Mini Donuts

What you need:
Donut Batter
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 3 tsp of baking powder
- 1 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 cup of margarine, melted
- 1 tbsp of cinnamon
- 2 eggs
Sugar Topping
- 1/2 cup of white sugar
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
How to make Cinnamon Sugar Mini Donut
You want to mix together your sugars topping in either a brown paper bag, to shake your donuts, or into a shallow dish so you can plop them nice and hot into the sugar so that it melts, and sticks to your donut.
Start with your dry ingredients in your bowl. Give it a little stir to mix it together. Mix in your wet ingredients.

Plug in your mini donut maker, to get it preheated. Make sure that you use non-stick spray to prevent your mini donuts from sticking. Our Bella Mini Donut maker is a little rough around it’s finish but it is well used now, and no longer sitting around collecting dust.

I pour my cinnamon sugar mini donut batter into a Ziploc bag to pipe it into my mini donut maker without making a mess. I have shared exactly how I make mini donuts no matter what flavor you make.

As soon as you take your mini donuts out of the molds, place them right onto your sugar, and press them in slightly. Don’t press too hard so you don’t flatten them.
Or shake them in a paper bag. This was it and miss for me.

Set your mini donuts out on a cooling rack to cool before serving.

Cinnamon Sugar Mini Donuts
These are a delicious, and simple mini donuts, that with the cinnamon sugar on top top, just pop with flavor.
Ingredients
Donut Batter
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 3 tsp of baking powder
- 1 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 cup of margarine, melted
- 1 tbsp of cinnamon
- 2 eggs
Sugar Topping
- 1/2 cup of white sugar
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix together the sugar topping in a brown bag, OR in a shallow bowl..
- In our mixing bowl start by combining the dry ingredients, and then add the wet ingredients together.
- Pour cinnamon sugar mini donut batter into a Ziploc bag to pipe it into your mini donut maker without making a mess.
- Close to cook.
- As soon as you take your mini donuts out of the molds, place them right onto your sugar, and press them in slightly. Don't press too hard so you don't flatten them.
- Set out on a cooling rack to cool, and serve.
