Spring has finally arrived! And left. And arrived. And so it continues. But I am very optimistic that it will arrive, and it will stay at some point very soon. As soon as the newest layer melts away.
Summer weather is just about here. We’re still getting a rainy day here and there that goes along with spring, but the temperatures are definitely up there. This year we’re living in a …good little city I guess we’ll call it. Better than where we were last year where the public pool didn’t open until August 1st, and closed September 1st.
I know we’ll be hitting the splash pad and wadding pool a LOT. The girls loved it the few times that we managed to get there last year. It’ll be nice to see Gauge’s reaction this year. When you are always having fun and making things with or for your kids, they are always looking for the next thing, it doesn’t have to be a new thing, or something that you bought them, just something fun. I’d rather be making and trying new things than buying toys.
After our morning walk Austin asked if we could make something fun, some balls or playdough. I told her that during nap Momma would come up with something fun to do outside. This is what I came up with: a big bubble blower. She had a blast, and I need to find new water bottle for my walks.
I cut the bottom off the bottle, used a baby face cloth covered the bottom with it, secured it with a hair elastic. Dip in bubbles and have fun.
