Do you have a sewing machine? I do. I nice, full size machine. I use it mainly to hem my husband’s pants and to take in the waist of both of my daughters’ pants. I’ve also made a bag before. But that’s all its ever been used for. TextilBox doesn’t want you sewing machine sitting around used either.
This month the box I received was to make a beautiful Christmas bag.
Due to the success of Textilbox in France and Spain, it made sense to expand into even bigger markets. Textilbox officially launched in the US and Canada September 2015.
So what is TextilBox?
It’s a DIY creative sewing box delivered to your door. Each box includes the pattern and materials, which is have the battle, having everything you need for your project. It also includes step-by-step instructions. It’s a wonderful way for novice and intermediates to improve their sewing skills, while creating a practical novelty gift for you someone you love or for yourself!
This photo is from their website, you don’t want to see mine… trust me, my sewing skills are rusty!
I think these would be really get for a young person interested in learning how to sew, I’m not going to put an age out there though, you know your kids better than I know your kids!
Other boxes include: a pencil case, a make up case, a glasses case and a cloth bag.
Disclosure: I received a box for this review. No other compensation has, nor will be received. My opinions are 100% honest and my own.
