I had been looking forward to this vacation from the first moment that we started planning it. I couldn’t wait to smell the salt air of the coast.
Then we saw the Mountains, and I didn’t want to go any farther.
We were lucky to be able to stay at the Admiral Inn in Downtown Victoria. We were even able to see the mountains from our bedroom window/patio doors.
There are a few things that I learned, like parking is not free… thankfully, the Admiral Inn provides parking. And because we were downtown we rarely drove any where. We did a lot of walking.
The location was great. Everywhere we wanted to go in Victoria was within walking distance, the Royal BC Museum and the Victoria Bug Zoo. The waterfront, the US Ferries, and Parliament Buildings.
Not to forget how great the hotel was. Continental breakfast was included, with a great selection of fresh fruit, which was a hit with all my kids! Laundry is available, which is perfect when you are staying for more than a few days, as well as the kitchen.
Clean rooms, with everything you need to have a great vacation. You are able to to cook your own meals, and relax and enjoy your vacation.
We had an amazing vacation, and if we had stayed anywhere else I don’t think we would have had such a great time. Getting out and walking everywhere, seeing so much more of Victoria by foot than we would have by car.
Disclosure: We stayed at the Admiral Inn Victoria in exchange for this review. All opinions are 100% are honest and my own.
