I am in a reading, learning, and improving kind of mood lately. I have been working hard on the “behind the scene” blog stuff like promoting and writing, and updating old posts. I have filled my tablet’s kindle app with books on the subject. I haven’t read them all, or even started them all, but am getting started and will be taking them along on vacation with us.
I have many books on the go. A Nora Roberts, a few of the blog books that I have listed here and I’m sure there are other books laying around that I have started.
How To Blog For Profit: Without Selling Your Soul (Expanded Second Edition) – Ruth Soukup
I have already started this one. I haven’t read it all, just the first three chapters so far, but it is definitely worth the buy already. At the end of each chapter you get An Action Plan, where it takes what the chapter just talked about and gets you to work on those things. Perfect for me.
For under $10 I’d buy it again no question.
Update: Get this book! It is full of great information as well as tasks to do at the end of each chapter.
I have started this one as well. I don’t know why you have chosen to blog but it is my sole income, with the exception of babysitting one day a week. So learning how Bob Lotich replaced his day job… Yes Please!
Update: This was a great read, between this one and the next one, I filled a couple pages with “to-dos”.
Pro-Blogging Secrets: Strategies, Tips, and Answers You Need to Grow Your Blog and Earn More Money (Blogging Guide Book 2) – Bob Lotich
I haven’t had a chance to start this one yet but I’ve got it already. I’ll be reading this one after I finish book 1… reading them in order people!
It’s under $10. To learn to grow my blog and earn more money, hello, that’s what I want.
Update: This was a great read, between this one and the one above, I filled a couple pages with “to-dos”.
I read this on at the beginning of the year! I read and absorbed everything in this book.
SEO is so important to your blog and getting organic traffic.

I read this one a while ago. I recommend it to those that haven’t been blogging for that long.
