It’s March Break, for many. I used to love March break. Now Austin gets February break and Easter break. Since I love having her home with me two random weeks off from school is A-okay with me.
I have a small closet/pantry in our kitchen and it has nothing kitchen related in it. It is full of paper, crayons, play dough toys, all of my favorite things for kids and more!
Boredom Busters for March Break
Here are some of our favorite activities when boredom starts to get the best of everyone this March Break.
Most of us have baking soda and vinegar in our cupboards. Adding food color to the vinegar is just a bonus brust of color.
This is another great activity with the ingredients already in your kitchen. Water, oil and food color wake up this beautiful show of fireworks.
And yet another one that you just might have the stuff laying around your kitchen for. Walking water is especially fun for younger kids, say 4-7 years.
You might not have these ingredients on hand, but a quick trip to a grocery store and you’re all set! This slime is fun to make and play with. It lasts a long time and the kids just love it!
