No one mentioned that my boobs were going to look change so much after nursing. Oh and heads up TMI coming up! I learned everything I could before Brookland was born to ensure I could breastfeed, and though we definitely weren’t without our share of problems but we made it work for eight months.
I had nice boobs before and during pregnancy (and after having Austin). They didn’t change with weight gain or loss. I knew thought about what breastfeeding was going to do to them. They weren’t firm, unless I need to nurse and they certainly weren’t where they should have been. I rarely worn nursing bras as I don’t find them comfortable. But I made sure I was wearing my best bra if I was going anywhere, I refuse to be one of the women who’s boobs are on the loose.
After my milk completely dried up, I was in the smallest cup size of my adult life, a B!
Woohoo for getting pregnant again, and getting my boobs back. Back to shopping for a bra I go.
I wrote this using the writer’s prompt “bra” from Mama’s Losin it.
