I admit, I yelled today. I stopped, I felt like crap, I apologized and I went on.
We’ve, or I, have been doing so well. Then again, the weather has changed from cold, windy and snow to beautiful warm and sunny. Just being able to get out of the house has made it so much better.
Today has not been our day. It is Brookland’s 2nd birthday. And the girls seem to have forgotten how to listen. We haven’t even had the cake or any sugar yet.
I caught them eating some leftover Saskatoon berry crumble in the kitchen… sneaking handfuls from off the top of the stove. But I held it together and, maybe it was the shock because Austin has never done something like that before, I didn’t yell. The yelling came with the toys they didn’t want to clean up, and the noises that Austin was making in response to my asking.
But nap time has come and this afternoon we’ll start fresh.
How have things been going in your house?

*hugs* We all have those days. But at least you stopped and noticed. That counts for something. As one of the co-hosts from the My Favorite Posts Weekend SHOW OFF Party! Awww…. You sound like me a few days ago. I hope things are better. I know how it feels. I have a toddler at home too. Thanks so much for sharing this @ The Weekend SHOW OFF Blog Party 🙂
