Different take on Messy Friday this week. First Messy Friday in awhile, so I thought I’d change it up a bit. This week, Messy Toy Room! Beyond messy, very little foot room, and no play room. I have tried bribes, threats, and today, I’m taking toys. The toy room is a mess! I know what your thinking, it’s a toy room, it gets played in therefore it should be messy. I don’t think the girls know what toys they have in there. It’s a small room so they are stepping and tripping on toys. Austin has a good little bruise on her arm from falling against her toy box. At nap time today, it all changed. From this: To this: Update: Now, I originally wrote this a few weeks ago and just found it in my drafts folder. That day I took and filled a large moving box with toys. Blocks, toy food, trucks, what ever was laying on the floor for the most part. The room stayed clean for quite awhile. Then the other day it got messy. I added a few more toys to my collection, and it quickly got clean. I plan on giving some toys back, but behaviors need to improve first. This Momma feels horrible for yelling and giving out time outs. The last few days haven’t been as bad as they had been, I see a change!
