All my happy toy playing memories revolve around Barbie. Clothes, shoes, houses, cars, horses and so many other awesome accessories. Hours spent dressing and redressing. Re-doing her hair, and in some cases her make-up. Arranging furniture, driving to and from, riding to and from all those imaged places.
My favorite playmates were my younger by a couple years and a very close friend. We each had our roles: hair dresser, fashion designer, etc. Amazing memories to last a life time.
Now that Austin is getting older she is starting to play with Barbies of her own. I wish I had the boxes and boxes of Barbies and accessories that I had as a child to give her. I can’t wait until I can sit down with both girls and have an excuse to be able to play with them again.
