On Sunday Hubby’s family had a BBQ at local provincial park with lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins, and my parents came too. It was a nice way to spend part of our last Sunday in Nova Scotia, I took a LOT of pictures, pictures of everyone. Not to be shared here of course but we’ll have lots of pictures to look back on.
We were lucky that our picnic area had its own little spot to the water so after lunch the kids, and Dadda’s and Grampa’s, were in the water. I have some great pictures of my girls with Hubby’s dad, soaked, fully dressed in the lake with happy grandkids all around.
The last time we were here Brookland loved the water, as you you’ll see in tomorrow’s Wordless Wednesday post. Sunday however was a different story. She wanted to be held after this, in the water, but up in someone’s arms.
Then you have my little beach leopard. There wasn’t a sandy beach just rocks but that didn’t stop her fun.
She did go out with an older cousin to her belly button, which for her is quite far but then she quickly came back to dry land and dug in the rocks. She takes after her Dadda here. He says that he had always preferred to dug in the sand building castles instead of being in the water which is where I would have been as a child.
I don’t care where she is playing, as long as she is happy and having fun.
