When I was pregnant with A hubby was working on the road, a lot. He would be gone any where from one day to two weeks. After I got used to him being gone it wasn’t so bad, I worked for most of the pregnancy and stayed busy in general. Though I do admit, I was nervous as all get out, living as far from town as we do.
One afternoon I hopped in the shower, well, being 8 months pregnant I didn’t actually hop, but you know what I mean. As soon as I turned the water off I heard a weird noise from somewhere in the house. My heart went a mile a minute. It sounded like it was coming from our dishwasher, which wasn’t running.
It was coming from the basement. I slipped on Hubby’s boots and went to see what the noise was. I got a second shower as soon as my feet hit the concert floor. There was water shooting out of what my father-in-law later told me as our water pump. It was hitting the ceiling and everything around it. Thankfully my father-in-law knows something about plumbing and was able to get it to fix the problem. Thankfully in this case my in-laws near by. Why do things like this only happen when Hubby is gone?
I am participating in a blogger campaign for Bucks2Blog about plumbing and was compensated. However, the views and opinions are my own.
