… to all my Canadian followers. Today we will be having our turkey dinner. Yum. Which means my lovely girls need to wake up soon so we can get on the road.
I We have been quite busy here over the last few days. I have been drinking water like crazy, pumping like crazy and nursing like crazy… but more on that in the next couple days.
I would just like to share my little ‘sleep’ story from this morning.
I woke up at 5:40am to realize my daughter was laying between hubby and I. I asked her when she came in bed with us, of course she has no idea, she’s two! Duh Momma. So I’m now wide awake trying to fall back to sleep with small, sharp elbows, knees and a large hard head are poking into me. At 6am I get up to feed the baby, tell A to stay put. Halfway through feeding B I can hear A’s very quiet footsteps in the hall. “Go back to bed. YOUR bed.” More footsteps, not so quiet this time.
Now A is in her bed, fast asleep, cause who knows when she woke up. B is happily making quiet noises in her crib and I am wide awake in bed thinking how did I not wake up to my child literally crawling over me to get into bed. Because over me is the only way she could have gotten into our bed.
