The Organized Homeschool Life

I am usually the happy homemaker. However, add in being 5 days past my due date makes for a not so happy homemaker. It has been raining or crazy with black fliesĀ for days, so no walks or even much outside time to play in the yard.

A and I got to play outside on Friday, where she discovered a small magnifying glass leftover from last summer.

She had a lot of fun looking at the flowers, trees, toys and anything else she could find.

Friday I also made something special for Hubby. Bagels. YUMM! I now have made 3 batches of 12 bagels. The last batch I added blueberries too. WOW! I have been making bread for us for quite sometime. So much cheaper as Hubby takes sandwiches to work, A and I always have toast for breakfast and A’s only request for lunch is peanut butter and jam sandwiches. This equals about a loaf of bread a day. OR it did, until Friday when I started making bagels. (I guess I should add thatĀ bread is made in the bread machine, and the bagel dough is as well.)

I hope all the mothers out there had a great Mother’s Day as I did. A slept in, a huge treat for me, and then her and Dada made supper. A must have liked sleeping in, because this morning she slept even later for her Momma.
