Chocolate Cobbler
  • 1¼ cup sugar
  • 1½ cup self rising flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 tbsp cocoa
  1. First thing, turn your oven on to 350C melting 1 cup of butter/margearine while its preheating in your 9x13 pan.
  2. Important: mix together without stirring, you just want to fold it together. It won't be completely mixed but it will work out.
  3. Add it to the pan of hot melted butter.
  4. Mix 1 cup of sugar with 6 tbsp cocoa and sprinkle over it all. Then carefully pour 2 cups of boiling water over it all. No stirring!
  5. Bake for 30-45 minutes. We let it go for the full 45 and it had a nice crispy, golden brown crust on the top.
