Another year has come and gone. This was our second new year in Saskatchewan, our 7th since we met, and our first as a family of 5. We spent the night much the same as usual. The girls went to bed at their “normal” time, Gauge fell asleep rather early for a change. Hubby and I stayed up watching movies on TV and Netflix. We actually stayed up until just after midnight, in SK unlike last year where we only made it till 10pm… but it was 12am in Nova Scotia (where we’re from) so we figured that counted.
A Little About Me in 2013
I turned 27 year old.
My favorite foods were poutine, hot fudge sundaes, meatballs, marshmallow bananas… I had a lot of pregnancy cravings.
My favorite activity was walking.
Greatest lesson learned: you can’t please everyone and trying is just too damn hard
Favorite memory: I have so many! Including the arrival of Gauge.
What I loved about 2013: Hubby got a good “run” or route within the company he works for.
Hardest part of 2013 was moving for said job.
To Come in 2014
Graduate from my web design program.
Work in web design – freelancing.
Keep up with my lovely little blog.
Get moving and lose some the weight I have gained since Hubby and I met in 2007.
I want to read more books for pleasure instead of school.
I linked up with Mama Kat’s Writer’s Workshop. This week’s prompts were:
1.) Share any blogging tips you picked up in 2013…what are your blogging goals for 2014?
2.) Choose a theme word to live by for 2014 and tell us why you chose it.
3.) Share your top 12 blog posts from 2013.
4.) Look back at the resolution you made last year at this time, how did you do?
5.) How did you bring in the New Year?
