Things are starting to slip a little around here, my mind included. I’m on auto-pilot, drinking coffee, taking care of the little ones praying for nap and bed time to be here. Things are slipping away.
You see I did a party for Everyday Style more than a week ago and Hubby put Brookland to bed. Sleep changed that night.
That little beauty fights sleep like it is her mission in life to see how little sleep she (and the rest of us) needs.
Bedtime routine starts like any other. Into jammies, brush teeth (though she still only has 6!), hugs and kisses into to bed we go. Things go down hill from there. Brookland start by throwing her blankets and soother out of her crib and then yelling and screaming.
After up to an hour of rocking she finally goes to sleep and we;re good until about 5-5:30. Ugh.
Then it started at nap time too.
Then it started in the middle of the night.
Hours of rocking and wishing I was sleeping. While I love the cuddles I also love my sleep.
Tylenol nor Camilla haven’t helped any pains that might be bothering her. Her amber necklace hasn’t seemed to make a difference.
This Momma wants some more sleep, and I’d love for both of my girls to get some sleep to. We are a household of sleep deprived people.
