Ugh. There isn’t much more I can say. I hate wasting money, I hate not being able to see where we’ve spent money. Yes a safe, maintained vehicle is so important to both our family and others on the road, but again I hate not seeing where our money has gone. I know I can’t be the only one feeling this way.
A noise started in the front end of our van almost as soon as we got to Saskatchewan. Hubby started through his “it could be this” list, all awhile I’m squirming in my seat asking how much it’ll cost and if he can do it himself. We haven’t been here long enough to know if there are places that give free quotes like Columbus auto repair.
Thankfully last weekend Hubby finally landed on what the problem is. Wheel bearing. Hubby can do this, or at least he has in the past. You know, where he had years worth of his tools, his brother’s and father’s tools. As well as help if need be from the those sources. We have the part, now to get the tools.
A safe vehicle is what counts. I just hope that he doesn’t expect to help in anyway. Including passing tools. I don’t know them. But I would bet my last dollar that Austin will be more than willing to “help” her Dada. She has had her count down on all week and will be off the wall excited tomorrow knowing he’s coming home.
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post for A-1 Steamline, however, all the points, views and opinions are honest and my own.

It’s great when someone can repair your car and you don’t have to take it somewhere. Costs way too much money for labor. Although I guess it is tedious work.
