We have a nice big sun room in our house, all real pine wood on the walls and ceiling, lots of big windows and patio door access to our back yard. All I could picture in this room as toys, its the perfect room to be used as a playroom and that is what it is now. Now, all that pine is beautiful but colourful enough for my taste. Enter, bubble art.
Austin has been asking to get coloured bubbles for awhile now, ever since she saw a commercial a few months back. I had read a review about them and nicked that idea in the bud, no thank you I don’t want to stain everything everywhere. Yesterday I got some grubby play clothes, some bubbles, food colour and a few dollar store paint canvass.
{Mean Mommy Moment: Brookland wasn’t allowed to play. I know Austin can “try” to keep activities to a certain area, but Brookland is still to young.}
I mixed probably 5 drops of colour into the bowls of bubble solution – yellow got 10 drops – stirred them with the bubble wands and handed the bubbles and canvass over. I think paper would work better, so the bubbles were bouncing off the canvas a lot of the times.
I’ll take some more pictures of them, dry, once our morning calms down a bit, and once I get them up on the wall with some more of our art work.

This looks like a really fun idea. I got Crayola colored bubbles once and they stained everything and everyone lol.

That was my fear. I made it clear to grandparents that they were off limits as gifts as well! Horrible but I didn’t want the mess/stains.
