Today’s mess was definitely messy. I started out in the idea of being silly putty and took and different route. The main thing is everyone had fun. I love how as soon as Austin sat at the table Brookland ran over to sit too and then looked at me, expecting something.
Since the recipe I used called for liquid starch and I have none and tried making it. I guess homemade doesn’t work as well for silly putty so I ended up with runny glue. Not willing to waste, I mixed some water and borax, dumped the runny glue in (taken from Messy Friday: Slime and we headed up with sticky runny slime.
You can see in this picture that it was running in to the (umbrella) hole and onto the ground.
Brookland wasn’t too thrilled with being stuck to the table. It is very sticky. Both girls had dried glue on their arms, I had it everywhere, my hair, hands, arms and clothing.
