I don’t close the door to the bathroom when I am home alone with my girls. Biggest reason being I want to be able to hear what A is doing. I also think this played a role in her being so easy to potty train.
Yesterday I went to pee as usual. A walked in, looked at me sitting on the toilet.
“Momma you bum is big.” Ahh ….
“My bum is big?” OK, where has she heard this? I am extremely careful not to say negative body imagine comments around her.
“Yup, you bum big. Dadda’s bum big.”
Then she turned her bum towards me, looks over her shoulder at me. “My bum big too.”
OK, she doesn’t think my butt is big in general. She thinks we all have big butts. Not just me. I walked hard and fast tonight, just in case.
