I am nesting. I did this throughout my pregnancy with A, in fact I painted 4 rooms, a hallway and ceiling pregnant with her. Is it a wonder I was small carrying her?
I painted A’s room a sunny pale yellow. With a few nursery rhymes hand painted is light green around the center of her room. I now want to give her a ‘girly’ room, but I want to be realistic and not go over board so that she wants to change it when she is 13 because she doesn’t want a pink room. Where is the balance between sweet and girly, that a teen can live with and going over board. DF says that the reason I want to paint it is to cover up the few little mistakes that I made, opps. Not quite untrue. I just want to give her a little girls room while she is young.
I actually picked out the colour for this baby’s room about a month ago when I was walking by a display of colour chooses. It jumped out at me, it’s called “Smile” and is pale green, very neutral as DF doesn’t want to find out the sex of our baby.
